It’s hard to talk about an economic cost when the war is being paid for by Europe in the United States.
Refugee from another, less-friendly instance. Please forgive the youth of my account— I’ve actually been around here for a while. Still, glad to be here!

That’s definitely not what the episode was about. If you’re still confused, watch the last few minutes when Captain Kirk actually explains at all.
Clearly, I’m not the one who never watched that episode.
Thank you for displaying how much you missed the point I made.
The way you think is very small. Limited.
I think you’re mistaking me for yourself. I do not celebrate when people die.
And you clearly missed the point of what I just said.
I very much like Ukraine and hope they win. I cheer them on for every victory I hear about.
But this robot soldier bullshit is something I really fucking hate.
Once you remove the human cost of war, you remove any motivation to stop war. I learned this as a kid from Star Trek S01E23 - A Taste of Armageddon
Why not s.j.w?
Georgia was also founded as a white supremacist ethnostate. All of them in the contiguous 48 states were.
I had no idea that Finland was a racist place. But I suppose there are racists everywhere…
I’m not sure if the metaphor of you anthropomorphizing an inanimate object is the best one to criticize the projection of one’s own desires and wills onto a fantasy deity. For one thing, your car actually exists, even if its emotions do not. Also, believing that your car simply doesn’t like cold and damp weather is a rather harmless belief. For a person to believe that a god’s will reflects their personal wishes and desires is inherently dangerous. I’m not aware of anyone rationalizing hate crimes because they thought the car didn’t like a certain group of people.
