I completely disagree. bitcoin has no useful product. its equivlent to getting paid to burn a barrel of oil just to take it out of the available oil supply. Stock represents a company that, hopefully, is producing something useful. Cypto is mos certianly more of a scam and also more moral. Our current market is way out of wack so im not going to say its not scammy in its own way or immoral in its own way but if it is crypto is definitely moreso.

As I responded to another that is exactly what makes general robots different. If it gets to the point that you can buy one and set it to do tasks its no longer a big investment but a purchase here and there. Its like the personal computer. Before that places had to invest big time into super computer datacenters to use computing. Suddenly small businesses and people at home could buy one and utilize it. If an office can skip replacing its chairs and copier to get one one year and its worth the purchase, then it will become standard purchases that offices do. not millions. thousands.

Yeah I am like that but I never made money in crypto. I have no argument to say that it can’t be lucrative. Its just that its immoral for any that do make money because it is a scam ultimately. Any crypto that is energy efficient does not have as much potential to make money and truly legitimate crypto only has the value of the energy used for its purpose (gridcoin being the best example I know of where the crypto’s energy use results in useful work)

Thats the thing though. When engineering an assembly line or warehouse with rails its a big project. If a particular store can buy it and use it in short order it takes on a whole new dynamic. I kinda hope it brings back small stores and local offices.

This stuff accelerates fast. boston dynamics was around since the nineties but its not until google X bought it a bit over a decade ago that people started to see what it could do and spot came out 5 years ago. The robot that changes its own batteries is a big thing to me as it realistically allows for a unit that can go 24x7 without being attached to a cable. If a robot is made that can maintain and do basic fixes if given parts for its own design and that will be massive as well and I don’t think its far away.

I found most people in the right situation on the right topic can be knowledgeable or insightful even if they are sorta assholes in general. I mean there are other people I know who are so often knowledgeable and useful that your like woa. ok for anyone confused. Likely in the us. This sounds a bit like selective service but it goes a bit further although I think in ways the us doesn’t do because we suck. So like 18 males have to get a physical exam to determine if they would be fit for service but all 18 year olds have to sign up were they state if they are interested in the military and if they would be willing to serve if needed. I mean sorta nice relative to the us thing but I can see why there would be protests as obviously they could use the info to call folks up even if they did not express interest. Still given the us selective service I don’t see this as being much more outside of actually asking the persons opinion and it being for both sexes and males getting a free physical (something that would never be condoned in the us).
