You might be able to do some symlink shenanigans for those specific system.
There’s a launcher called “Minecraft Bedrock Launcher” that’s been working fine for me.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t. ROMM stores them in the usual system/roms folder format. If you have any issues you can just setup some filters on sync thing. I would just test with one system first.
Sounds like you know what your doing. You do you chief I guess
If your budget is that tight, I would just say just repurpose your laptop, just take the battery out if it’s not already.
I think the Aoostar R1 will be the simplest setup for you. The N100/N150 have pretty good idle power usage, and it supports 2 3.5HDDs and NVME.
I would just switch out the original sticks with hall effect replacements. It’s not too difficult to replace them, just take it slow on your first one so you don’t accidentally break anything.
ALVR is a thing for Quest (and maybe other?) headsets. I’ve been able to get it to “work”, but it was a pain and would constantly have random issues.
I ended up just dual booting windows for VR.
As someone who games on Fedora as my main OS, we need to stop pretending that Linux gaming is all sunshine and rainbows.
Yes, fuck Windows, and it probably did fuck his boot loader, but it doesn’t invalidate his other poor experiences he had with the OS.
Hell, I don’t think that even that was necessarily an invalid experience just because it was caused by Windows. Dual booting is a thing people have to do, especially if they want to play the games that just don’t work on Linux. Even if you don’t like the games personally, they are huge and a lot of people want to play them. Even my main Linux group dual booted recently to play the BF6 beta.
Being elitist and calling people stupid because they had a bad experience will do nothing but hurt Linux gaming. Instead of calling JayzTwoCents stupid because he dual booted for a valid reason, explain alternatives that he could have done to prevent the issue. If we want to grow as a community, we need to provide actual helpful feedback, not by being toxic.
I was going to get a 9070XT… When it was MSRP.
Couldn’t find one at launch and that MSRP is a myth now :(
I would plan on the 800 or so price range.
(Also unrelated, but since this is in the Linux gaming community I wanted to let you know the fortnite does not work on Linux due to the anti cheat.)
Best buy open box is probably the best place to look.
It’s probaly not needed at this point. You can get flash drives crazy cheap.
I guess I’m a bit confused, immich does have a few docker containers available, I’m using one for backups and it works great.
It’s more for people who look at the controller buttons while playing. I’ve had people use my controllers and get really confused when B is actually A and so on.
I can’t speak for this controller specifically, but all of the 8bitdo controllers I’ve had seem to been fairly easy to get into and repair.
Although it’s not as convient as the Pro 2, I wouldn’t say it’s not replaceable.
As someone who switches between PC using an Xbox layout and a Switch, I like the idea of swappable buttons, assuming it doesn’t cause any issues physically with the controller in the long run.
As much as I like 8bitdo, I constantly had issues with my Pro 2. Hopefully this one is better.
I wasn’t giving advice for pirating it. You’re on your own for that if you can’t afford the $7.00 to get a copy from the play store.
