That’s the thing, 1080p monitors are very common…maybe the most common. If that’s your resolution, a 1080ti will take care of you just fine. If I can keep my 1080ti’s fans from dying, I will probably use that card for another 5 years.

That’s a shame. Hopefully they add lossless someday.

I have two “gaming” PCs. One with a 1070ti and the other with a 1080ti. For fancy graphics games, I rely on GeForce Now.

This is where Bullet Journaling has had the most impact for me. I write it down and I never forget where because it is always in the same place.

So what’s the angle? The Internet is getting flooded by AI slop. AI needs fresh REAL content to train with. That’s the angle. You are there to provide frsh amd original content to feed the AI.

I use Pop!_OS with Bitwig, Renoise, and Reaper as Linux native DAWs and Guitar Rig 7 through Wine emulation. I haven’t given the Guitar Rig 7 install a proper run through, but Bitwig, Renoise and Reaper work great.

The E.T. game being “the worst game” thing is all myth. It was a tremendous flop, but it had nothing to do with game quality. I’d say that 90% of Atari 2600 games were objectively bad and E.T. was amongst the 10% of good ones. They over estimated demand, overhyped it, and sold it during the holidays, which means extended and relaxed return policies. That resulted in too many units manufactured and too many units returned. Thus the landfill full of cartridges.
