If I could find a casserole that greasy and full of meat, I’m sure I’d love it too.

Pumped hydro seems like it’d have even worse ecological concerns than a dam since you’d need to make a high up reservoir. But hopefully it can be much smaller to even put the peaks in wind power, rather than generating the power directly?
I haven’t seen anything, but let me know if you find anything or make one, sounds fun.
Looks like 700Gwh/y, so 80Mw. That’s not insignificant. A wind turbine produces about 2.75Mw, so you’d need 30 to just make up the nameplate capacity. But it’s probably actually twice to three times that amount, since hydro is very consistent, and wind isn’t. Need to add on batteries for storage too.

I might be biased, but I really like [email protected]. Really fun posting about the wonderful qualities of a good stick.
(FYI, I’m the mod, if you don’t want self promotion, I can delete this. But I do think the community is great)
They help different things. Bees will help the local flowers and plants, solar panels will cut carbon emissions. But boosting plants doesn’t cut carbon emissions since the carbon isn’t sequestered, it’ll go back to the atmosphere once the plant decomposes.
So if you like the look of flowers or want honey, go with bees. If you want to lower carbon emissions, go solar.
Which is what LTT didn’t know at the time. They only knew about stealing affiliate codes.
They’ve had public spats with Anchor and Plex, doesn’t seem to have hurt them too much. I don’t see how honey is more dangerous to them.
Why would being problematic to honey hurt them? If anything, it’d make the other sponsors more confident in their affiliate links. They’ve burnt plenty of brides with Apple and Nvidia, I don’t see why they would be afraid of honey.
I think it was the week before last? The one after the honey video came out
They didn’t make a video about it because they thought it was a problem for creators, not a problem for consumers. They may have communicated to creators separately to drop honey. They talked about it publicly once they found out honey was also lying to consumers about what they did.
I’m surprised they hadn’t already
I’m guessing a big part of that is drones, they’ve been absolutely cranking them out.
Yeah I agree. If people don’t have a relationship with everyone, that sort of reputation model would be hard, so it wouldn’t scale well.
But which ones? Were they religious communities? Hunter gatherers such that centralization was less advantageous?
Curious, what small scale examples are you thinking of? Those might be a good model.
Just trying things and seeing what sticks puts millions of lives on the line. Seems risky. But maybe eventually we can predict mass human behavior well enough to develop a control loop that keeps an unstable system stable without succumbing to selfishness/power grabbing? But that seems dangerously close to just hoping AGI will save us all.
You implied that only NATO bombs countries, which is incorrect. You implied NATO members think war for the fun of it is good, which by no means is a common opinion. And you implied that because NATO countries bomb people, it’s okay for Russia to also kill people. Those are some things to start with.
There’s some cool research into quiet done blades that might help.
Cheese and sauce. They put extra layers on top.
