

Whenever I do searches now, through ecosia, any Reddit results come up with “we’d like to show you a preview of this content but can’t”.
Im not entirely sure why it happens (it’s not always on a pc with a VPN, so that’s not it), though I assume it’s to do with the API crackdown. It has been highly effective at keeping me the hell off Reddit for literally anything for the past several months.
I get why people would want to keep honeybees, I just wish they could understand why some of us with land/small farms/homesteads would rather support local pollinator species instead…
Like sure honey would be nice, but the only way I’d be willing to keep them is if they only have access to enclosed greenhouses, to protect local species, and frankly that’s probably too much work for me. I want the local pollinators to thrive because that’s zero work for me. Plus they actually have a place in the ecosystem.
