Yeah I remember UK was way ahead of the game on this and it was a big topic in the 2000s but maybe they got overtaken.

Technically correct, the best kind of correct.

Kim Jong Il came in power in 1994.
Not so sure about that when I was making my own protein bars I would eat way more, because I had way more available to me at cheaper prices.

You’re fine mate, welcome aboard!

Imagine the reaction of the guy when he found out.
Capitalism fosters/rewards the bad.

Maybe lay off the carnival powder for a bit eh.

What I meant is I tried to Google homebrew smart remote and found nothing. I do have understanding of the concepts and was looking for the specifics :)

I tried googling some of this but I must be misunderstanding the thread, mind ELI5 for the rest of us? ^_^’
Was it though? Like back then?
It’s definitely a massive effort but yeah, it works, lost 35kg doing that.
You get pretty good about estimating, you learn by weighing stuff at home then you can just guesstimate, it doesn’t need to be absolutely perfect to work. But to be honest if you’re serious about your diet then restaurants are always gonna be a cheat, the reason the stuff tastes good at the restaurant is because they charge it with the good(bad) stuff.
Lots of people already mentioned that you lose the weight in the kitchen, not the gym, but I still don’t see many or any recommendations for counting calories. Truth is most people have no idea how many calories are in the stuff they consume and when I decided to lose weight using a calorie counting app was the number one thing that helped me out. After a while you learn and don’t need to keep logging anymore but at first it was invaluable in my journey losing 35kg.
Yeah when I cross someone in the street using them at first they still look to me like they’re off their meds and talking to sky daddy out loud. It goes faster than before for me to realize “they must have an earbud in” but that’s still my first reaction.
I agree on this for products however with services (such as the ones I provide) I can’t really give you a price upfront except for stuff I’ve highly standardized, because I have no idea until we work out the project on how much labour/costs it’s gonna have.

I know a guy that’s a pilot and while 90% of his flying is leisure, he’ll sometimes fly down to France for his vacations etc in one. Doesn’t own them though, has to pay rentals.
Still missed the opportunity of the century by not calling number 2 “now you don’t”.
