I have a good one. Once a small machine shop in my hometown had their adjustable sign say “gravely bad-boy scag” which sounds like the best insult ever, but apparently all 3 are brands of lawnmowers that they sold.

we don’t really have tags on Lemmy, but I blocked the anime subs just because I don’t find reposted images without any text enjoyable the same way I find music enjoyable. I do appreciate the insane amount of effort that goes into making them though.

kinda yes kinda no, it seems they deleted the comment but what I had before I edited the post was the ‘force max display rate’ setting in the developer options which makes it 120hz all the time, but edited it to the ‘enable higher display rate’ which opens it up to going >60 if an animation is playing or you’re scrolling or whatever

I messed around with the “display refresh rate” setting and it seems like it’s 120 when there’s any sort of animation or you touch the screen at all, but it goes to 60 if it’s just playing a video or you’re not touching it, and 30 for the “always on” display that shows the clock.

I expected it to be more like the SteamDeck which just goes 1fps if nothing is happening on the home menu and jumps up to 60 or 90 (depending on model and settings) when anything moves. 30fps for a clock seems wasteful, but then again I’m not a phone expert so 🤷‍♀️

I have a few friends that were exposed at like 7 and have CSAM floating around of them, but that’s more so ADULTS causing the harm and not a natural cause of it being easy to find. Other than that, is say almost no damage.

I would say living in Florida where education is piss poor, there should be more sex ed about how to stay safe. Most harm could have been EASILY prevented by having a conversation young.
instead we tiptoe around the subject where you draw a few diagrams of the vagina and watch a birthing video. that was ALL of my sex ed in Florida.

Not all parents talk about it (I won’t go into details about my parents) and it should be a requirement to keep people educated and safe. Most men know nothing about women’s bodies and it’s sad to see it never be talked about.
