Have not had that sort of shitty experience with Lenovo servers so far, 4 years in. At least they don’t make you license your BMC like HPE does.

Their service and support however are absolutely worthless.
This has been the case for 30 years. STOP. BUYING. THEIR. SHIT.

Microsoft AI CEO
Considering the company, I suspect they heard what they’d said and immediately gave them another raise. “that’s the kind of insanity that made this company what it is today!”

Is PC
Shock and awe when told it MAY cost similar to a PC
I do not use Arch, but I can appreciate a Trekkie having such a wonderfully specific reference handy. Well played.

I personally hope you’re wrong again. I think the level of hype should provide a huge stack of orders early on, and I think SteamOS is now SO good that this could go to the moon after the honeymoon period.
Time will tell where between you and I it winds up.
It’s been some time, but the biggest pain point for me on X11 was 4k@144hz. Short of some xrandr tweaks I couldn’t manage to set, Wayland immediately worked perfectly.
I suspect I ran in to x11’s limit in that case.

I’m not opposed to it I just don’t think it has an application for me, YET

Extremely cool, but at least for the time being for me also completely useless.
Let’s see where this goes. I’m sure Jeff Geerling will teach us all how cool this could wind up.
Edit: Nevermind. He’s already posted about it, lol
Wayland is the one thing that fixed a whole shit-ton of my problems overnight and now I find out nobody wants to use it under any circumstances.
¯\(ツ)/¯ Alrighty then
I use Linux Mint at work and Pop!OS at home. Sorry to disappoint.

To them I say “good luck, fuckers”

Unless you have something truly obscure, I can confidently say any of them will do at this point. I recommend Pop!OS myself, others will disagree. Pop! has a download for AMD hardware and a separate for NVidia GPU-equipped machines. Try it out on a USB today! YOU CAN DO EEET!
