If you count coffee, tea and energy drinks as a drug, then there are a lot of people like this.

Nothing like FOSS when it comes to cost cutting.

Is this sort of like Space Engineers, only more annoying? Sort of like Vintage Story is to Minecraft?

Is this distro is the one that is great for gamers? I can see it becoming very popular .

Didn’t watch the video, but switching to Linux was easy for me. Bought a second SSD drive, installed a Linux distro on it, setup the Linux boot manager to allow me to also boot into Win10, started installing apps and tweaking configs and transferring data from the old WIn10 partition. Ran into one issue that was caused by having secure boot turned on in the bios and had to spend some time getting my Steam games running with good performance. Still have a problem getting some Windows only GoG games running, but I can still boot into Win10 if I really need to.

I forgot how loooong Oatmeal cartoons are. I don’t think I have made it to the end of one in years.

I am surprised it took this long. Probably happening since day one and just now getting reported.

So, when the last wagon wheel factory closed down, where there nostalgia pieces in the papers?
I guess not, I just searched and there are still a bunch of places making the wheels.

I loved CompuServe, back in the day.
SiFI book Doorways in the sand by Roger Zelazny. Dude has a generous inheritance as long he is a full time student working toward a degree.

I had no idea that exoskeleton assist rigs were a thing. I was picturing a giant beetle riding a bike.

For FTP games that I am really enjoying, I will buy stuff sometimes to support the game.

Many times when I post on Lemmy I am then educated. I do appreciate it a lot, thanks everyone.

I have never tried to use AI to develop software, just looked at the output that sometimes shows up in google searches. Noises are starting to come from on-high about an AI ‘push’, so I may need to show some basic awareness. Any suggestions on how to get started or should I just ask the AI?

Looks like a rogue version of Grim Dawn, but I did not try the demo.
If developers have a solid game, I wish they to put one promo video and one here’ how game play works video out.

I estimate that 60% of my phone use is for audiobooks while driving.

I think they added walking on planets and inside stations at some point and the promo video I saw showed guns and combat, but I can’t say what that is about.
I forgot all about Starfield. ‘Skyrim in space’ with mixed reviews in Steam and a 70$ price. Maybe if it gets down into the 20-25$ range.
Is he revering to the self driving Teslas when he says ‘robot army’?
