It would be so super duper disappointing if the docs were publically available for everyone to read. Gosh golly.

How many sponsorships have you gotten?
It was a general statement about youtube sponsorships.
I am not privy to Bambu Labs clauses. In fact, I have never heard of this company.
My biggest takeaway from that article is that Google has been charging website owners to train their AI for them. What a bunch of greedy cunts.
More often than not, they are signing an agreement to not say anything negative in order to get the sponsorship.
Please let this all be a simulation that I’ll wake up from!
The only ads I really see are product placements, brand names/logos and product reviews on youtube (which are generally paid ads).
Like many here, I use ad blockers etc but I don’t think most people realize how much of what they see are actually ads. Just look at a pair of sneakers and you’re likely to see an ad on the side of them.
This is even worse with anime! Back in the 90’s anime had men and women doing awesome shit. There was sex and violence. There were characters I could relate to.
Now it’s all teens. Spineless boys who piss themselves at the sight of a female. Everything is PG. No badasses or relatable characters (unless you’re 12 I guess).
I love the medium but I hate that 95% of the time the target audience is children.
Because bondage, S&M and the leather community are all different things. Sure they’re all under the kink umbrella but that doesn’t mean somebody into one thing is into All of the other things. Most people I’ve met in the leather community aren’t even into bondage.
I’ve been purging all big tech from my life as much as possible. Meta was easy because they don’t really offer anything. It took quite a while to eliminate google. Once that was done, it was Microsoft’s turn.
I’ve also been absolutely fed up with Windows over the years. Each release somehow gets worse and more clunky and in my way of doing what I’m trying to do. So on top of being untrustworthy, using my data and generally being capitalist assholes, Microsoft’s product itself is shit.
I installed Mint and seen what innovation actually looks like. I also realized most of the things I love about android are actually features of linux under the hood. So I intend to jump on the linux phone bandwagon as well.
I’ve been using Photoshop for over 20 years. That’s been the hardest part. GIMP is impressive but for as long as it’s been around it’s still a little rough around the edges here and there. I’m learning to deal with it though.
I’m literally camping out in the woods right now and installed linux on a mini PC last night. No real home, no job, but I’ve got penguins!
I hope they don’t ruin this one with zombies or anything stupid. Def added to my wishlist!
I think this is somewhat true on X, Meta’s platforms and Reddit but not so on lemmy.
That was a great watch, but I think it’s actually more simple than that. Content creators want to focus on their content. If it is now considered acceptable to have a mic on camera, hiding it is one less thing they have to deal with while shooting.
I do find it extremely odd to hold a lav mic though. Maybe that’s the only mic they own. I donno.
I think the last time I tried a bunch, it came down to Breezy and Cirrus. I think they’re pretty similar but I settled on Cirrus for whatever reason. Here’s a link for anyone interested.
You’re having an argument with a voice in your head or something. I’m just going to tag you and go about my morning. Good luck with whatever it is you’re dealing with.
This. Any time you’re not sitting at a desk/studio you need some kind of mic. And these new wireless mics work well. Now people are opting to not buy/use the big studio mics because the wireless ones work good enough and go anywhere.
Absolutely. Just don’t do anything shady with that information. I think that’s all anyone’s asking.
Sure, and it would be cool if that dude didn’t pass my personal information to a third party.
First thing I saw when I opened the app 😄
