I do think some steering is necessary. I have long conversation with my partner on it. Since I was born full of hate and anger it took years to separate it from myself and focus it on evil people instead of everything. It requires heavy logic based thinking to not let your emotions play yourself. Because the hate give false clarity and direction. Its only when it fades that I realize how dumb actions where.

Yeah this constant state of exhaustion is ridiculous. Sleep 3 or 12 hours its all the same. Took a nap over the weekend and it just feels wrong.
