This movie is fine. I don’t understand why it tops so many peoples lists for greatest movie though.

God she’s incredible.
Lee Pace. He has done a lot of great tv recently, and is easily the best part of the shows he is in. I hope to see a Cillian Murphy-esque rise from excellent tv to starring in great movies.
He has been in Twilight, the Hobbit movies, and the MCU which are all huge franchices. But I hope he gets good interesting parts like his chracters in Halt amd Catch Fire, The Foundation, and the Fall.
The sleeves from gastric bypass surgery. Lots of other medical devices have an obvious function, thinking of steel hip replacements or screws to bend badly broken bones. But the sleeve might perplex someone thousands of years from now.
This question is tough because I feel that our society has documented everything. Even the smallest item has articles written about it. But if a lot of that info was lost, things like bluetooth headphones might cause confusion. If technology doesn’t endure, will future generations think everyone had them to limit surrounding noises when in reality we introduce sound wirelessly.
Was it a religious thing? That had me in tears. Honestly, no more and no less strange than most religious traditions.
Kieran Culkin “ye of little faith” while shaking his fist at his wife was adorable.
This was my first thought. Terrifying! Claustrophobia has entered the chat.
With Milo (miniminuteman) in the thumbnail, I thought the video was going to imsinuate that his content was part of the alt-right stuff. Was confused and terrified. Happily, that was not the case.
Can someone who has seen this explain. From the commercials I have seen, this seemed very contrived. Is it funny? Is it meta, making fun of other shows of its kind? Maybe I am not the target audience.
Watched from my kitchen window as my dad and my dog were chased by a skunk. It was exactly like a comedy sketch. First it was dog barking at skunk with dad yelling from the side door. Then it was skunk chasing dog, dog chasing skunk with dad chasing dog. Then the tables were turned, and my dad was being chased by the skunk.
It was glorious. I remember it taking ages before they could get safely inside. My dad was pissed at the time. They both were partially sprayed, but I don’t remember it being that bad of an aftermath. We laugh about it now.
I like your taste in youtubers!
Responding because I am also curious about this.
Contact lenses. I know I could use my glasses, but I put them down and can’t find them half the time. I am blind enough to be absolutely useless in most situations without corrective lenses.
Hot water on demand. Coming in from the cold and getting a hot shower. That is so wonderful.
Wait, this is a possibility? That’s awesome
His cameo in the 2nd Iron Man movie always felt so cringey to me. I don’t know how it came about, but I like to imagine Musk asked the production for the role. It is so clear to me that he desperately wants to be seen as the man who will single handedly save the world. His companies do incredibly impressive things, I cannot discredit the work of SpaceX, but the more he speaks, the more I am convinced that he is just an egomaniac cosplaying as a genius.
People on their phones while driving. Aside from the danger it poses, I have been stuck at a light behind someone who is obviously scrolling on their phone and then doesn’t realize the light has turned green. Sometime this lasts for 10-20 seconds, which is a lifetime when trying to efficiently move through a series of stop lights. I’m not an aggressive horn honker, and I feel like an asshole if I have to use it. But if you are fucking with the flow of traffic you deserve it.
Eternal Sunshine if a Spotless Mind has such good reviews and people speak fondly of it online. I hated it, just thought both characters were insufferable, and there was nothing remotely romantic about it. Felt like I was trapped in the bad relationship with them.
