They are different. If I could run steamos I’d probably run that. But on my hardware Bazzite is the best of the compatible options.

Another option is OpenMediaVault. It’s based on Debian. Very stable. Has a good community supporting it.
What’s the benefit over 2k monitors in portrait?
Also I think the improvements in HDR and brightness recently are more substantial than the update to 8K. At normal viewing TV distance you’d be hard pressed to see the individual pixels, even on a 1080p screen.
Even for PCs there isn’t much reason to go about 2k screens (1440p).

I use resilio sync to back up my photos to the NAS. Then have scripts to import them into photoprism. Sync runs on two machines so I always have two copies of pictures.
I also use next cloud as a second back up system.

You and your fancy workgroups! In my day we had DOS and we were happy!

Nah they peaked at NT4.0! Fight me! I remember using that for my dual core celeron system! Abit BP6 FTW.
(I agree with you about 2k, but I liked XP and loved the look of Vista so what do I know…)

Bazzite works better as an appliance/ gaming PC.
But I still enjoy it more than Nobaro.

I can’t wait for nvidia to fix the last few graphical glitches in steam big picture and game scope.
I have windows 11 and bazzite as dual boot. I haven’t moved over full time yet though. Mainly due to VR support and sailing…

We can only hope! (That this is considered one of the worst ones…)
I never understand the renewal cancellation issue. The company will get the renewal once. If that happens to me I’ll cancel going forward and never work with them again. But if they let me cancel easily I may go back in future.

How does it compare to htop? I always found that good.

Answer to both questions is most are.

They could even used it as part of marketing. “So powerful it needs 2 connectors”
Depends on the mornings. Some days good, some days filled with dread!
Fun…

I know it’s not steam but by god Minecraft Bedrock drives me mad. Everytime I try to play it needs to update. And if you don’t update you can’t play online…
(I know Java exists, but it doesn’t let me easily play with a switch player)

Sometimes i pirate games I’ve bought so I don’t have to deal with this nonsense. Like titanfall.
I don’t like this comparison. Hammer was actually competent.
