I’m gonna be “that guy” and point out that 2000 was technically the end of the 20th Century.
The 21st didn’t start until January 1, 2001.
And yes, people hated it when “that guy” pointed this out 25 years ago, too.

It took me about five nights to get through Heavy Rain, and every night I went to bed feeling like I’d been punched repeatedly in the gut.
Fantastic game that I consider one of my all-time favorites… and I’d NEVER want to go through that again.


Terminator 2 is probably the easiest answer.

True enough. It seems I blew the assignment, as most of my examples are more fantasy-based than historically accurate. Still fun shows, though.


To be fair, I only saw a few episodes of the first season and had no expectations or notions when I stumbled on it; it seemed fine for what it was.
The other shows I mentioned, though, are actually favorites in our house.


For relatively recent US comedies, Season 2 of Miracle Workers, Galavant, and My Lady Jane were all pretty good. Also, Disenchanted was a pretty good animated series.


It came and went so fast that I assumed it was terrible… until I caught it on streaming and had a blast watching it.
It’s no Citizen Kane, but it’s a great way to spend a couple hours being entertained.


… And they are A-ok with that.
