It looks like there’s an option to store backups locally and upload them elsewhere if you don’t want to pay for their service.

Using Hyprland as the DE
Tried ubunto with mint about 10 years back. My first actual daily driver was endeavoros about 1.5 years ago and it has stuck!
Idk man. Show someone some cymbals on a 128kbps track and it sounds like someone crumpling a plastic bag via a tin can connected to a string. In contrast flac is going to sound much more natural.
I’d agree with you regarding 320 and flac - most people are gonna have a hard time differentiating.
Ooof, that’s all I needed to see. I was considering a nothing phone at some point but this ensures that I will not buy their products.
This is possible, but via a slightly different mechanism. Using piezoelectric sensors that effectively vibrate to harvest energy.
My brother worked for a large Korean tech company that was evaluating similar technology for consumer grade application (think whole room wireless charging…) Another aspect they were looking into was using low frequency sound waves to emulate the sensation of a physical button so that washer/dryers could have virtual knobs that feel analog.
Likely not something scalable at this point, but in theory it is possible.
I would kill for a small electric truck… Telo is calling my name, but they don’t have a functioning product yet.
Lol yeah the comment was previously “I like the fact that I get a on mobile” or something that didn’t make sense. All good.

All the time. Links either 404 or are made up. If someone’s vibin hard, copy/pasting, there’s a non-zero chance to link out to something malicious “accidentally”
Earlier this year when I made the switch as I was getting blue screens at least once a day while gaming. Initially to endeavoros with cinnamon, then switched to Hyprland.
There have been some fixes that make me wonder at what point am I tinkering vs implementing a fix that should be included in the base version of the Linux flavor… Many rabbit holes over the last 6 months, many more to come.
This looks like my wife’s placenta from after she delivered our child

Have you tried downloading the AUR? Oh, it’s not available in the AUR? What about the flat pack? The package name changed, but it’s not available there either. It’s an app image, but to get it to work you’re going to need to switch your Nvidia drivers to DKMS. OK… So that didn’t work, have you tried reinstalling dracut and ffmpeg?
Yeah, I wasn’t sure initially if I’d like it enough to pull the trigger on lifetime. I should have. Been paying for the annual subscription for the past ~2 years, but the price of lifetime has steadily been increasing. Will probably pull the trigger later this year as a little celebration gift to myself for wrapping up other financial obligations.
I run Qobuz through a roon server on my Linux pc and it works great. I also have qobuz set up through strawberry, but it’s nice to be able to switch the output on the fly between different audio setups in my house (between my office setup and my bluesound streamer in the living room). The interface for roon is nice, but I get that it’s kinda expensive and there are cheaper ways to achieve the same thing. I like to stream while I’m biking on my indoor trainer and sometimes it’s nice to spin up a few songs and let roon take the wheel to keep the vibe going. I can also stream qobuz through roon to my Google home devices, but it doesn’t stream bit perfect.
All that to say, I like qobuz and roon is pretty solid as well, albeit an extravagance and totally not necessary. The writeups qobuz has are also solid.
I do think the qobuz app interface leaves something to be desired.
It’s good. Simple playback loop. Upgrades are slow but unlocking new cars is rewarding. No micro transactions.
I wonder what proportion of Ryan Reynolds’s income is from Mint Mobile
Because it “slows down innovation”
Oh wow, I started using neo recently as a Nova replacement and didn’t know it has this. Great news!
