Many years ago I got banned from r/conservative for asking where exactly conservation came into play as part of their ideology. On its face, being conservative sounds awesome. I want to conserve this planet’s ecology. I want to conserve human rights. I have never seen any conservative American politician in the last thirty some-odd years try to conserve anything. It would be much more apt to call them regressionists, but they’re so much worse than that.

But since you willingly identify yourself as a conservative, and you’re here, what is your take?

Edit: After reading through your other responses… Never mind. I can see you are more a literalist when it comes to the definition of the word conservative, but that is not and has never been what the political ideology has been for or about. Your attempts to make it something it’s not may be noble, if not misguided when you could just associate yourself with the people who believe in the same things you do.

I’m not sure it’s possible to put it all back together again even if it’s possible to put dems in charge.

I’ve got hundreds thousands (lol) of hours in Civ VI alone. I’ve paid for copies for PC, Switch, and Android (and I’m cheap as hell so that’s really saying something). I played Civ VII for maybe an hour or two and then never came back to it. I shouldn’t have to tell you that a Civ game you can willingly put down is not a good Civ game. Aside from the game just not being very fun to begin with, the transition between ages is so clunky, it just completely ruins all of your planning and the pacing of the game.

With this news I saw some DLC had been released since I tried the game and thought ‘oh great, maybe they fixed it a bit or added new mechanics.’ Nope, just more fluff. Never again, Firaxis. You will never get another dime from me.

Salesforce was some hot garbage before, I can’t imagine it’s getting any better now.

Huge Fan of The Simpsons, the first 13 seasons are regular background noise in my home. After that it’s mostly shitty with a half decent episode by lesser standards here and there, but the half decent episodes were becoming more frequent right up until the acquisition.
