The game that got me into dual stick controls and first person shooters in general, absolutely loved this game.

I know but that didn’t stop people screaming at me because of something I warned them about when they bought the damn thing.

My first job was working in a camera shop in the mid 00’s these were just about still for sale, and I hated them because people would buy them because of the floppy disk, see that at 2 megapixel they could only hold a couple of pictures so would then down the resolution to fit more on a disk and then come storming into us a week or so later because we ‘ruined’ their holiday photos or whatever because they were taking them at the lowest resolution and would be a grainy mess.

Omg just imagine the war boys from fury road gracefully gliding down the road screaming ‘witness me’ 😂

A lot of people missed it when it launched it came out on the heels of the last of us so people assumed it was a clone, it was also massively bugged on launch. The upcoming TV version has renewed interest in it though so depending on how that does we may get a sequel. Also did you know there are hidden clues it may be the same world as syphon filter?

It was evening in the UK when it was officially announced but we had been expecting it for a few weeks as the UK government at the time dragged its heels unsure of what to do, spoiler alert I did not even get a day off unless you count the weeks i had off because I kept catching covid, the first time completely knocked me off my feet for a week.

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine Brazil apparently propping up the internet, but huge swathes of twitter shutdown when Brazil banned it a while back, for a short time.
