I love that cats always gravitate towards warm places. And it’s a nice trick to have them close, by placing a laptop on ones desk :)

You peel the bananas before putting them in the zip-lock bag.
When you have 5 or 6 bananas, you take them out and let them thaw in a bowl.
A lot of juice runs off in the bowl and this lets you cram even more banana in the banana bread than otherwise possible. That is, without making the banana bread soggy/claggy.
Now for the absolute kicker: Take the juice that has collected in the bowl, pour it in a saucepan with some extra sugar, maybe a bit of vanilla and give it some heat. Let it slowly evaporate until you have a somewhat thick banana syrup, which you will pour over your banana bread, once it has emerged from the oven.
Life. Changing. 🍌

Pretty fun reading. Always good to see some theory and real world mixed.
The article talks about code interviews focusing on big O and how it can be misleading.
Nice that both Go and Python, a compiled and an interpreted language, are used in the examples, to higlight what is actually going on and how theory can/does differ from praxis.

You should at least give us an introduction, like maybe: “Cryptids are Turing Machines whose behavior (when started on a blank tape) can be described completely by a relatively simple mathematical rule, but where that rule falls into a class of unsolved (and presumed hard) mathematical problems.”
