Maybe it gets to be more scummy than you want, but how about notifications when you have no activity going? Like when you finish traveling or your inventory fills up.

Just chiming in to say that I enjoy this game. I just noticed accidentally that I can search in the inventory/bank for things other than the names of items, like searching for “carpentry” returns all of the gear and tools that have carpentry bonuses! That’s a really big deal for me because the bank is so full I was keeping notes outside the game on which tools and gear I need for each skill.

Seconding the recommendation. Alyx is the only really amazing experience I’ve had in VR.

Probably less “hacked” and more nobody locked the control box, or the password was still default or something. Some of these anyone can just walk up and type something in.

I’m not learning Japanese (here from /all), but just to pile on the owl, I am still super salty they removed the community comments. I’m learning Hawaiian, and there just aren’t a lot of other learning resources. Having actual kumus (ʻŌlelo (Hawaiian language) teachers) answering questions about WHY the answer is what it is was super duper helpful.
