I was wondering why the context had gotten so bad recently. Apparently they reduced the context and hid the old limit behind a button in cursor called “Max” that costs more money. This shit is bleeding out.

Had a 1 on 1 with my manager yesterday. He’s says my perfectionism delays shit too long, but also realizes it’s good when harnessed correctly bcz my work is solid. Just wish I could figure out where to do shit work to come in on time on my tasks. Going to start next week.

One day I sat down to watch the movie after force awakens (can’t even remember the name). About 30 minutes in I had an extreme sense of deja vu. Come to find out I watched that movie in theaters and had completely forgot it. After that I watch ed rise of the Skywalker and definitely will remember that as being the worst stars wars anything I have ever seen… christmas special and babu frik excluded!. I felt bad for the actors on that one.

I am working at a big AI company on llm generating code for automation. I’ve had cursor solve a bug that was occuring in prod after prompting and asking questions of the responses. It took a few rounds but it found a really obscure interaction with the app and the host, and it thanked me for the insight. 😀. I deployed the fix and it worked.

The problem I have is I member it solving this bug, and I remember being impressed, but I don’t remember the bug. I took a screenshot of it, but currently don’t have access to those. I am disconnected from the code that the llm has generated, but I am very aware of how the app works and what it should do very intently because I had to write requirements and design doc.

I saw the Woz at El Burro Restaurant in SJ once and my wife said: Oh it’s the guy from dancing with the stars! 🤦
