Weird that they don’t just…you know…copy that.

Really satisfying to see llm instead of “ai” in that headline.
So obviously this sticker and mod are fucking awful, but it’s worth keeping in mind that, if you’re at a protest or even just crossing the street, it doesn’t matter who’s right when it comes to a car vs the human body if push comes to shove. I’ve seen protesters (rightfully) call out a car for trying to push through them, but they also started mobbing the car, which in turn panicked the driver who then recklessly sped off. Thankfully no one on foot seemed seriously injured, but it made me wonder what they thought was going to happen by surrounding the driver like that. Protest away, but keep your safety (and others) in mind, too.
It’s a riff and disparagement of the saying “Black Lives Matter”, which in and of itself rules out any funniness, imo. That it’s about threatening violence against pedestrians just makes it worse.
In most cases, acquisition seems to work out poorly for indie studios, but ND has certainly made good use of Sony’s resources while they’ve been there. I’m just glad I get to play their games finally.
If you remain fixated on the idea that your way to relax is gone, you’ll never be able to find a new way. Life changes, for good and bad. It’s on us to make the best of it.
Black Flag was/is such an enjoyable game. I always wanted the option to have an npc take the helm so I could head up to the crows nest and just chill out, watching the sea pass by and listening to the crew sing shanties while we sailed off to wherever. Still holding out some slim hope that some modder will randomly take up the task some day, hah, though it seems like the modding options for BF are very limited, judging by what’s available.
Why would a US credit agency care about the GDPR?
Yeah. Lemmy’s biggest strength (decentralization) has also shown to be one of it’s biggest flaws when micro-managing admins/mods turn their instance into their own personal fiefdom, inflicting their “justice” broadly and without discernment. I’ve been banned more here in under 2 years than on reddit for over 13, almost exclusively for voting “wrong” according to what feedback I can find, which is a a seriously treacherous practice in communities like these. I have no real sense of loss over it, but I do worry the Lemmy-verse will end up with tons of siloed off instances instead of an interconnected community if it goes on unadressed.
Unnecessarily long
Lol. “How dare you give me a comprehensive explanation of specifically what I asked about! Rude!” What is rude is being so shitty to someone that went out of their way to try and help you understand something, acting like it was a personal insult. How selfish and demanding of you.
These models are so shit they need a translator. Hilarious.
