Well, that’s great for killing one thing, for sure

I know! I wasn’t sure when I posted it, so stuck to memory to be safe.
I reckon I’ve confused the double digits needed for the silly shutdown explanation thing (planned/unplanned, various reasons) instead…
Shutdown.exe -r -t 00 -f
Fast , no mucking around with graceful exiting of stuff. Kicks it in the teefs
On my cereal in the mornings
Oh neat, I want a nice game
To be fair, I find that funny.
I assume it’s sarcastic, but you never know
As a kiwi, can I table the suggestion that nothing from the herald I’d trustworthy?
I have mixed feelings about my countries loss of trust in our media - these guys did nothing to help themselves
That’s a really nice touch
Thanks, i didnt see that. Love it
Now you’re thinking with portals!
Thats wild! They rotated the panel OOTB? Good on them for doing something different
Also altsnap is a great tool for throwing stuff around when not suited to fixed layouts
If you’re using anything full screen, you’re doing it wrong
Wow, thats interesting!
The brain heals and changes, right? I wonder if theres an opportunity here to forge new mental habits (no idea if its too soon or not - rest was always a big thing with concussion, i gather that hasn’t changed?)
…umm, now what?
I can’t put them back, can I?
Took me straight back to unreal tournament days (or was it quake 2?)
Thankyou!
Gosh randall is always on point, though. Either a complete psycho or a savant of the human perspective (laziness, i guess? It seems like most of his stuff is mocking the lazy process fails in science, bureaucracy or people interactions)
Thanks for that - I hadn’t thought about the rest of the domain in the name.
I was purely thinking about it from a hypothetical risk-mitigation perspective.
As you can imagine, keeping ‘the old crap around’ in case of a need to roll back would be handy in some migrations… Assuming the same IP complicates that.
However, I guess a machine can have multiple IPs so it needn’t be too much of a drama if it’s just a matter of moving the original IP when rolling back…
Just chipping in here but I gather 60 concurrent editors is pushing what most people have experienced - so thanks for your perspective!
Most I’ve dealt with is about 5 (in Excell) - and the actual changes were not really being made frequently or by all parties. The worst part was the project manager altering the view and fucking up everyone else’s perspective (even though each had their own?!) - Classic PM stuff.
Does Sheets and the rest of the Google suite handle this well?
I’m really struggling but actually doing extremely well, all things considered. We’ve had a hostile takeover so even if I keep my job, it really feels like it’s going to shit. My garage was broken into and my bikes nicked or damaged - that really sucks bug moreso because is my main hobby, exercise and coping mechanism :(
I’m hoping I can order a new mountain bike with a gearbox, so that’ll be really exciting - but it’s ages away at best.
The reality is my family love me and I’m successful, so in real terms, things are good - but I really need to work on my imposter syndrome and inner accuser!
