I simmarily roll my eyes when people volunteer “I’ll go vegan as soon as lab grown meat is cheap, healthy and indistinguishable.” Every meat eater says this to me at some point.

Like okay, that’s nice? Lots of us live and thrive just fine without it, but even when all your hurdles are passed you’ll find some other reason.

Sometimes you have to explain what being trans is to a person who believes that dogs go to heaven and, in most circumstances, saying “I’m a female soul in a male body” gets the point across.

As a disabled, trans, vegan, anarchist my life and beliefs are far more complicated than I could express in a comment section. So I tend not to lead with any of those labels and instead focus on quippy one liners about personal liberty from goverment or religious institutions.

I’ve been keeping my eye on it ever since I saw the super cute release trailer. How worthwhile is it? What games is it simmiliar to?

I finished it a few months ago and their launch did the game dirty. Absolutely gorgeous game with a compelling interesting story. Big time recommend!

As a huge baulders gate fan that has finished the game about 5 times, I would say that’s a mostly correct characterization. If you play on the easiest settings, then yeah you can totally drop in and out while enjoying the story. But anything beyond that will need either some tactical planning or doing research on best builds.

Unambiguously yes. I implore you to start HRT as soon as possible if for no other reason than this alone.

Congrats on the egg crack and I’m so fucking sorry to hear about your parents. But, what you do with your body is your choice and only your choice. Coming out to them, if ever, is a totally different hurdle than taking medication that makes you feel better in your body.

I was so scared of taking HRT at first too, it feels like such a giant step. But my only regret was waiting as long as I did. Just a shade under three years now and it was the best thing I ever did for myself. Physical changes are one thing, and slower than any of us would like but holy heck are mental and hormonal are it’s own bliss!

If you can go to a doctor and get blood levels first, that would be for the best. They will start you on a lower dose that builds up. But, having said that the majority of trans women are on 200mg estradiol and 100 mg spironolactone each twice a day. I hope you do not have to go underground to get your medication, but I urge you to not delay. You’re future self will thank you. If it eases your mind, just remember the vast majority of changes will stop AND revert if you decide to stop taking HRT.
