I think it looks very good. Did you outline in black first and then fill in?
I’m liking hanging out here, getting inspiration. I like the lines in the green and gray, seating green and sweeping wind through clouds
I use Sketchbook on Android phone, and Krita on my Windows PC.
They look so good, I wouldn’t have thought they were digital. My tinkering in digital has been less than what I hope for. Probably need to practice more.
The drips are just an opportunity piece. I had just emptied a medicine dropper and wondered what I could do with it and some watercolors. Not sure what to do with it.
I using something like this https://www.hobbylobby.com/art-supplies/painting-supplies/watercolor-painting/watercolor-paint---24-piece-set/p/81073667 They’re in tubes and allow using it thicker than trays of watercolor paints. I like horizontal lines, like you would see in a far off sunset, with a big sky above. I started scraping the paint across the paper, and found using an old spackling blade seemed to get the paint spread how I envisioned it. Each composition is something I think about for a while, and figure out the colors as I go. un. Is one I pictured with a white background and the gloppy bottom in thicker white, the middle of the page two colors are, I feel, adding tension, like it is on its side. I didn’t notice that until I was done with it, though. Colors 3 I had the idea of opposites coming at each other, and when I was making it, I staggered the opposition. Color Strips I did with a single pass of all the colors at once with a wide spackling blade. I’m mostly seeing how the stripes of different colors are arranged from some idea that pops into my head. Not a lot of rhyme or reason, but I enjoy making these and looking at them later.
Thanks for the tip. I’ll look for these, or similar while.
