No one system is perfect. Humans can’t be pinned down and are often at odds with their own beliefs. The best we can shoot for is “Communish” and “Socialish” and just try our best to look out for one another and the planet.

How can there be power without wealth (money)? Power and wealth go hand in hand, but you try to separate them. Maybe that’s why you seem so angry with the name calling and sheep categorizations, the dissonance. The misanthropy in you is strong. You are the change the world needs, not your words. Help someone in need and you’ll find way more sunshine in your life.

Calling all scrap dudes and dude-ettes! This is a good place to get copper while at the same time saving water for humans. It’s a win-win.

The way the tech world has unfolded in the last 25 years is bound to make most people cynical.

This poster seems to indicate that piracy and/or communism are bad things. They are not. Capitalism is a bad thing (unless you are at the top 10% of the wealthiest people on earth). A bit of an imbalance that is not good. When I say ‘poster’ I mean the image (like posters they used to sell at K-Mart), not the person who posted.

The big question is why we started adding computer operating systems to our vehicles to begin with. But the answer is still the same as ClydapusGotwald states…money. I’m starting to think the answer to most of the worlds woes is…money. Maybe money has been the problem all of this time. Fuck money. We can utilize our resources and feed and house everyone without that shit but then there wouldn’t be any space billionaires and we need them to save us all. /s

The consumers did not allow anything. This is the crap they were eventually forced to buy due to lack of any other options. Electro-mechanical-chemical vehicle with a delco radio should be enough. We adopt new tech because it exists, not because we should.

Just like the early days of programming when you really had to manage your memory, often down to the last bit. Those were the days when programming was more difficult. Now it’s mostly just point and click for middle-schoolers.

Hey kids! Pirating is cool, right? Who here likes to pirate, my friends? /s

Heredity and environment walk hand-in-hand and both have an impact on development.
I’ll sell them my birth date information. They already got their filthy lucre from buying and selling my name all over the place, why shouldn’t I get a cut from things I own?

If they sold it to the government then I want my cut of the name money, if I’m on that list. If every piece of crap business/corporation is requiring me to give my name and then sells my name, I deserve at least 50% of that dosh! Class action anyone?
Propaganda only goes so far. Most humans can see through the bullshit but they’re plugged into the game and walk the path, averting their eyes.

Creating something from nothing is always a good hobby. Whether it be a jigsaw puzzle or planning/designing a game that does not exist yet.
I bought a ZTE last year as my first “cell phone”. I hardly ever use a phone and when I do use a phone I don’t like it. For what I use it for the monthly fee is way too high. I’d probably spend less than 10 dollars a month if it was like an old timey public “payphone”. I no longer want to do ph’d level research just to discover what to purchase or find the cheapest alternative. The world has become too complicated or maybe I have become too stupid/lazy in my elder years.

The Supreme Leader’s court supports a whole justice system of redactors. So I guess there is lots to hide while hypocritically telling us that everything is okay.

It’s for all but does not help all.
The world is too absurd right now and in order to best fit into it the easiest way possible you must take on the mantle of absurdity yourself. There is not a lot of self-awareness or self-knowledge within these lazy thinkers.
