I run [email protected] and bypassing cloudflair, paywalls, anti bot filters, etc is way easyer compared to what anyone thinks.

Their is no escape from web scrapers. Best u can do is poison ur images and obfuscate the page source.

Go read the source and review the model page on huggingface and u will find thats not at all true for my implementation. The model im using provides a summary 60% identical to that of a human summary and >95% accurate in maintaining the original meaning.

Plus 99% is one hell of a an exaggeration.

Even some lemmy mods where suppressing it.

Well if the articles my bot is summarisation are written by bots then almost every article posted to lemmy was written by a bot.

Thats essentially whats gonna go into the daily brief.

Paywalls shouldnt be too much of an issue its already working for nytimes.

Have a check of [email protected] ive got generated ai summaries of some of those sources. If u got an rss feed u would reccommend i add lmk.

Its in the roadmap for the future. The issue with it is that it will have to use a traditional gpt llm subject to hallucinations.

Hugging face is first and formost a model repo not a hosting provider. Im running the model locally (its very lightwright hence no rate limmit issues).

Its a model with the sole purpose of summarisation its not a gpt model so generation has far less issues that are responsible for most hulucination issues seen.

Its not really generation its just summarisation of human generated text.

I think people just hate ai. Which is when it comes to big tech companies cramming proprietary shit into places it doesnt belong. But ive made it all foss in it own community.
