They wanted to see if there were any cut corners that could help explain the low cost other than government funding and the general low cost of labour in China. Did not find any cut corners during their teardown and sang the cars praises.

I think you are reading way too much into it, I was mocked for never kissing kissing someone when I was that age. Kids can be cruel, and I think this episode is just surface level deep. The target audience is young teens - children. I do not expect neon genesis evangelion depth in the writing. But maybe you could be right, but usually the hints are way more subtle, like Peter Parker’s jizzed hands in the first Spiderman movie when he wakes up (big puberty analogy). But, for me, the iCarly episode would make it very disturbing if a Nickelodeon show wanted to make subliminal messaging about sex
Geez, I think you had a good point and now it seems you are being burned at the stake. But arguments are good if held in good faith, and I see your point, and mostly agree.
The problem is everyone wants a good house in a good area, yet there is only a limited supply. Houses are a depreciating asset, breaks down etc, the land in a desirable area is what makes it expensive and appreciated. So by logic the landlord took a chance and bought a place to rent out, that will depreciate but they focused on location, location, location in the hope it will bring in a profit (speculation).
Honestly if the area is desirable, close to working areas, good reputation with low crime… It will sell itself and becomes desirable thus increasing price.
But no one forced you to live in a nice area, I moved to a rural town, where a nice family home is cheaper than a 1 bedroom flat in the city more than 3 hours drive from me. Unfortunately yes that means less comfortable options like work or services a city can provide me. But some benefits like I love the isolation and community a small community brings.
Nothing stops anyone from moving. In my country the government has tried to give RDP housing to the poor, except it stays theirs and if you get a work somewhere else or have to move due to wide variety of reasons, sorry lost your housing benefits, you cannot sell or swap or anything, a stupid law and makes people choose between housing or a better paying work, hopefully opposition is trying to give these people ownership rights and further strengthen property rights in general.

I enjoyed the Vampire’s Rocky road to Dublin song, which was the best moment in the film for me. I know the film is about culture appropriation etc… and the vampire is a parasite sucking the life out of, in this movie, black culture, but that song is a banger, still listen to it while jogging.

How I understand it, Basically how TVs, except OLEDs work is having a white backlight, which is what you usually see in dark area the light bleed. Local dimming zones try to mitigate this, the more zones you have the less the light bleed can be. Ok but the white backlight goes through colour filters can even be quantum dots, don’t ask me how that works but basically, you started with white light and then filtered the colours until you are left with the desired colour. RGB backlights it seems wants to basically use RGB lights to modulate the colour of backlights so it can shine a blue light and then better filter that blue to give you popping blue colour rather than a desaturated blue light.
I have made numerous errors, I literally just watched one YouTube video with half my attention, and I please ask you to go read more about it but basically it sounds like a way to get a higher spectrum of colours per pixel and also ensure they are bright enough, so the colours look more saturated and pops out more.

Go look at LTT, Linus got the new Hisense and they explained the benefits and in the new video the drawbacks, it was the local dimming zones.
Same here, played around, but mint keeps pulling me back in. 10+ years going strong

This, yes if the world did not pollute and all of us changed tomorrow it would have been the best, but let’s not lie, this ship has not changed direction. I really think this will give us time and save the most we have to eventually change the ship’s direction. We have basically already geoengineered our way here, let’s geoengineer our way to a better world

Vices are a natural part of being human. But vices can easily become difficult to manage in a healthy manner. But it sounds like you are lonely and your religion and the service from adult workers is trying to fill the void. I get it, life is hard and tough and very lonely.
Why not try to take it easy on yourself. We are all fallible, but we should strive to better ourselves, look it seems that is exactly what you are trying and wanting. This might seem stupid but I started jogging last year. I fucking sucked, but someone told me try moving half an hour a day 2-3 times a week and in a year you would have succeeded in something to further build upon. So I jogged a block and basically died, but almost a year later it changed my life, I joined a jogging group at work, made new friends and running partners, and comradeship. I am not a jogger, still doing a 5km at 57 minutes yesterday, a parkrun with friends. But my point is not to start jogging, but maybe find a hobby or activity that allows you to interact with people, no matter how stupid, and if it is something to be active then there may be a double benefit.
This will not solve your issues or vices, but I learned little by little it becomes a lot, and maybe working on yourself physically or socially, even if you are a fish out of water, will yield results in different ways. It sounds like you are working on yourself spiritually, I hope since you started you have seen a difference. But changing yourself will require work, that is what makes it so satisfactory because you worked for this change, but there isn’t a quick fix or and shortcut, but the answer is easy, small efforts everyday, results in big hard worked changes after a while.
Good luck on your journey, I hope you are able to deal with your vices and issues in a healthy but productive way.

Look I know I am kicking a hornet’s nest here. First of all I am a Linux supporter, I have used the green Ubuntu since 2012, and I have been gaming on it since 2022.
But I am really curious about how the new ally 2 with the Xbox tweaked version of win 11 is going to turn out. Not that I would use it, if I get a handheld it will probably run Bazzite. But since Bazzite is basically a purpose built Linux OS for handhelds, I think the best comparison would be the Xbox team’s purpose built Windows 11 for handhelds.
I still believe Microsoft will take the loss even with the tweaked version, but just like how we will cry if they put for example Hannah Montana Linux and Microsoft beats it somehow in certain examples with their new Xbox win 11 mobile.

Is this not good, does it not mean we have moved past the population growth boom and to a more stable population.
In fact less humans would be better for basically everyone, Earth included, except people that need more people to fuel their greed. Look at the black plague and how that brought prosperity afterwards.

Oh that is oligarchy Comrade

Well I love Mint, but nothing is stopping you from experimenting with other distros, now and then I try a couple new distros to see if there is anything that fits me better, but I personally keep coming back to mint. Nothing wrong with sticking with something that works, mint is really intuitive in my opinion, why it just works for me

I cannot speak for this area of science, but in my field China’s research papers, for example rock mass failure response to complex stress states, are like a god send, really quality work. This is my opinion in my field but if I had to extrapolate… Remember the Soviets with all their propaganda had amazing scientists

What do you mean? What distro are you using? And what card are you using?

Wait isn’t it that they changed from three unlocks a year to only one device per Mi account a year. As far as I know you can still unlock one single device a year

I do not know why, but I loved episode 3. Call me tasteless but as a school child going alone into the theater, being awestruck at the epic conclusion to the prequel space opera is still an amazing memory

Is this like milf, like does the gulf stand for Grandfather U would Like to Fuck?

True, they are not idiots, most of the time, but the article mentions 30W only, I know they will be working at lower wattages, but their focus should not be 30W, they should say we are targeting 5-10W as our main focus. Right now they sound like they are only focusing on fps pumping as much power to say they beat AMD, instead of a more holistic approach of saying they want the same fps as AMD at 3-5W lower power consumption
Just have a Christofer Nolan latest and greatest hits, prestige, dark knight, Inception…
