Macos doesn’t solve the ownership or customisation of OS problem that windows also has.
Mint does. Don’t like how macos does something? Too bad.

241·3 days agoStoring the repo, keeping a TLS session open to the runner 24/7 so when you poke the run button it does it now, not when the runner checks in next.
It costs fuck all but with millions of runners it does add up.
I hope this move and despite the pullback means more people will move away from GitHub and over to Codeberg, or alternatively run Forgejo themselves which is the software behind Codeberg

There was a YouTube video I watched recently where they did performance tests on equivalent sized VMS on AWS and heitzer (I think).
The AWS VMS constantly fell short. Like we’re only doing 1/3 the performance.
It would be cool to see results from other cloud providers.

Most finance related jobs are make more money faster, shaving ms off communication times can make a lot of money for high frequency trading.
Honestly, Cisco still is king for this. Look for some CCNA training courses to get a proper education on networking. Just get the material, don’t worry about the exam.
YouTube, CBT Nuggets, and INE all have plenty of courses.
