Looks like a nice cozy game. But difficult to tell if it will be good or boring.
Edit: It has 89% positive rating on Steam, though only around 350 reviews, so not a big sample size.
Yeah, DK Bananza is my day-1 buy, but I was hoping for the next 3D Mario this year or next.
It’s available for Switch 1, unless you don’t have a Switch, then yeah, better to buy Switch 2 then 1.
As far as PC / Steam prices go, there is no comparison, and not just for Switch, no console compete with them.
No idea about that, but same rules apply, so if you both have 0 balance, try changing and the account and see. Worse case scenario you will have to change region for two accounts instead of one.
If you are getting game code, instead of gift cards, then this should be fine. It would still be better to have a separate JP account for logistics though, or in case Nintendo changes something in the future.
For gift cards, oji has explained the issue below. You get card for $10 and the game is of $9.99 so you are left with $0.01 and then can’t change your region.
Yeah, an island or something, maybe 5-6 years from now.
According to the article they haven’t announced what the Switch 2 upgrade will have, just that there will be an update.
Also, Happy Cake Day!
Oh, I have only played MK 8 before this, and haven’t played World much, so haven’t noticed anything yet, but that doesn’t sound great for long time players. Hope they add more tracks, but I am not sure how common DLC tracks in MK are.
I have only played one grand prix (and that too locally), so I can’t say if World or 8 is better, but DK Spaceport is probably one of the most interesting track I have played.
I have only played it once though, so am not sure if it was the nostalgia hit or if the track is actually good but its still pretty unique.
Well, The Mummy Demastered is a small game, so may end up playing it anyway.
About Momodora, looked it up on Wikipedia, and Reverie Under the Moon is the perquel, but the Moonlit Farewell is the final game in the series and is sequel to the third game. Should I play rest of them too? I think I started the first one long time ago.
Nice. Have never been to a board game convention. Sounds fun!
Wow, nice. I had to do some grinding but I have just crossed Level 50, should be around 52-53.
Didn’t know about Lao, so he is now the only character I couldn’t get to Max level. Fortunately I did get his affinity to max.
Slay the Spire is pretty great. I am not a big roguelike fans, only finished it with the first character, which unlocks the second character, but I can see how it can get addicting, if you don’t mind the mechanics.
Yeah, I generally don’t care about going back after finishing the game, unless it’s a really good one.
Heh, good luck with Mahjong 3. I always confuse which one was 3 and which one was 4. Okinawa is a nice place, but doesn’t have the charm of Kamurocho .
The Mummy Demastered has been on my wishlist, so sad to hear about the issues.
Momodora sounds good, but aren’t there like tons of Momodora games?
Interesting. I never got to 100% on TotK, so maybe I’ll give it a try. Will remember to download the update.
MK World is downloading right now, so will check that later.
Haven’t played either, but from what I recall people were complaining it’s not as good as Strikers. Basically it was fun if you had some people to play VS with, otherwise it wasn’t that great. Haven’t seen any latest reviews though.
Looks good. Adding to wishlist.
Yeah, I agree, and from those who have used Switch 2 are fine with the screen (anecdotal, from people I know), but that being said, it shouldn’t be worse than Switch 1! It just feels bad knowing that 😀
TotK definitely improves upon everything in BotW, but that doesn’t mean BotW isn’t a masterpiece on it’s own.
doomcanoe has explained it well, I think for you, BotW is the way to go.
Though, just to be clear, you can’t go wrong with either option. It’s like choosing between two of my favourite ice cream flavours and I can only have one. 😀
