We had a few days a year when lessons were suspended and students attended self organized activities instead.
An entire class decided to sneak out instead, went to a bar and some students got drunk before coming back to school. One such student went to the bathroom, zipped up his pants without properly storing his equipment and ended up requiring medical attention including some stitches.
I never met the guy or even know who he was, but the whole school was talking about it for a week or more.
The true one:
Here’s a command line interface with vim open. Close it to disable the trap.

I used to play BfW a lot, I should try that again

Emacs was my first thought too. I wasn’t sure it had a web browser too, but somehow it felt very likely
As I’ve seen too many young girls fall into that particular trap, have high standards for your relationships and keep an eye out for people that try to control you and isolate you from your friends and family. If you have someone you trust, talk to them and ask for advice, as it’s entirely too easy to get blinded by love and realize too late someone is not good for you, but a good friend or relative can usually see that from a mile away.

And the animated Clone Wars series is a close second

Im at a point in my life where I try to drink less of that kind of stuff, so when I do I usually choose quality over quantity and pick some smaller brand making good stuff.
My usual is a brand called Lurisia. I especially enjoy their Chinotto, which is mostly caramelized sugar and a bitter aromatic citrus fruit, or bitter orange.

Yeah, the schpiel gets a bit repetitive after a while and you know the good guys will eventually win with some weird last minute twist, but for me the show is carried mostly by the characters and their chemistry. It’s the reason I rewatch a few episodes every now and then

Not exactly that, but Leverage gets close. Stealing back from rich people who stole first. Except the rich guy rarely ends up dead.

Fuck you, Mars

Love that the protagonist is as annoyed by it as the player

I rewatched The Martian for the hundreth time or thereabouts

80 hours in and I’m nowhere near, I’m more likely to spin up a new character than to finish the thing

Not sure if “smaller” but definitely Many A True Nerd. Funny, chaotic, wholesome and total allies with a great community. Plus pets!

The game Generation Zero got it

OnePlus did something like this, can’t speak about the effectiveness though

I use copilot at work (not by choice) and I find it’s useful as a somewhat smarter autocompletion, plus I can offload some menial tasks to it, like turning an if else into a switch statement.
I was already somewhat interested in Linux (as a long time Windows user) when I started studying Computer Science, mainly for it’s core philosophy of freedom and openness.
Given that most courses used Linux as the default OS I installed Ubuntu on my laptop to dual boot it with Windows, and began getting familiar with it.
Over the years I started using Linux more and more, making it my main OS, with Windows still installed for the few programs I couldn’t use otherwise. Over time this set of programs became smaller and smaller, until it was just games.
Last year I bought and assembled a new PC to replace my laptop for daily uses, and given the higher specs and better support (AMD GPU instead of Nvidia) I see no reason to have Windows on it at all. Everything I need runs perfectly fine there.
I use Arch, btw.
