Pretty much everybody is forgotten. Our data may persist but who will want to look at it outside specific arbitrary examples.

I agree but would qualify my agreement with a note:
Some of our neurodivergent traits come across as assholeish or rude behavior and while most of us try and temper and mask it does slip out especially in high stress situations.
Intention matters.
I think it’s my responsibility to explain to coworkers and make super sure they understand how I am especially after a high stress event (for me that’d likely be a server outage in production).
If the puppets are more afraid of the citizenry than the billionaires then that’d go a long way towards solving some of our big problems.
You’re not personally responsible or able to prevent climate change. This is a societal issue that requires societal changes. Don’t feel obligated to put yourself in financial trouble since the impact to your life is potentially devastating and your impact to solving climate change would be negligible. It fucking sucks but we live in a brutal capitalist system and you need to make sure you can care for yourself.
I might suggest seeing if there are local advocacy groups where you can contribute your time and, if you truly have excess wealth, help with direct financial support as needed, small contributions to things like mailing campaigns or buying a booth at a faire will help much more than blanket contributions - but, IMO, the bigger need is in effort and time.
LLM generations of that length tend to go off the rails - I think generating it in chunks where you can try and guide the model back onto the rails it probably a more sane technique.
There are several open source llms to lean on - but for long generations you’ll need a lot of memory if you’re running it locally.
Not certain if it’s still active but koboldai seems to be a community sourced tool that doesn’t have built-in limitations because it’s a non-commercial site.
Ah, I guess I’ll need to tell my teenage friend who never made it to adulthood after feeling trapped and ruined when an older man started an online relationship that isolated her from her family to… fucking grow a pair or something?
Healthy mature people can exist online in a positive manner. Not everyone is an adult and not every adult is mature. The internet can be a dangerous place and it’s unhelpful to try and dismiss that.
I’ll admit I don’t speak prolog but doesn’t this definition lack a recursive case to ensure that the mother is either Eve or a descendent of Eve? And there should probably be a father case in there as well?
Definitely Kieran Culkin.
Everything we imagine looks like humans. God looks like a human in nearly all portrayals - our consciences look like humans. Even death is an ᴀɴᴛʜʀᴏᴘᴏᴍᴏʀᴘʜɪᴄ ᴘᴇʀꜱᴏɴɪꜰɪᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ.
Aliens are just a projection of our fear of the unknown.
Yea, but that’d be worth it. We’d have found a cool doodad.
No, needs at least 300% more gay.
Dunno. The answer to your actual question is probably just “get an antigen test” though.
I taught myself LaTeX in college and just hand typed notes during class in notepad++
Nah, the UHC CEO was a bag of dicks. The work just doesn’t stop at one.
I was growing up when the SNES came out. I was a rare person that had an NES and I knew of no one with both an NES and SNES so most people I knew called the SNES “Nintendo”.
After the game cube was absolutely when “S’ness” became popular.
Boss makes a dollar, I make a dime - that’s why I poop on company time.
Men standing to pee is not nearly as bad as women who hover.
We’re all just going to use tz_database and turn the maintainer into a ghost trapped in the machine for all of eternity.
UPS commonly scams people with duty-related fees.
The most common scam is that there might be a 5$ duty owed on the package so they pay that, then throw on a 30$ convenience fee and a 5$ payment surcharge etc…
It’s always technically possible to dodge these fees if you’re willing to go through crazy hoops (i.e. sometimes you can pre-register that duty will be owed and arrange the duty payment to come directly from you - sometimes you need to actually go to the port to collect the package).
In most cases I’ve seen they sneak language into your receipt signature that might prevent you from contesting the duty after receiving the package but they can also asd on surcharges if they need to redeliver or reschedule a package.
… TL;DR it’s a fucking bullshit charge that you may be able to get out of if you’re willing to fight it but they purposefully bullshit bill you an amount small enough that it’s fucking annoying but not “This is worth a day of small claims court bullshit to fight” amount.
I’ve never seen someone who doggedly protested those charges fail to get them reversed but most people give up (including me usually - I fought it once when they tried to slap 140CAD bullshit fees on a package worth 15CAD with a duty fee of 5 cents. That one I fucking fought and threatened to just refuse receipt of.
