Once you’re a bit familiar with linux, arch becomes much more user friendly due to the Arch wiki and it’s wide coverage of topics. Knowing exactly what packages I need to use my Intel card to render with Blender is very handy. If you use a distro like EndeavorOS, you don’t even have to do any special setup: it installs like any other distro.

If you use Fedora or Arch, Envision can be installed through the Terra package repo and AUR respectively. With envision, you basically just select lighthouse, hit the build button, hit the calibrate button with your headset on the floor, and you’re ready. I personally don’t like all the different windows that SteamVR opens with many having visual glitches on linux. Since I’m using a Pimax headset, SteamVR does not work for me, so Monado is my only option.
SteamVR is kinda a heaping pile of trash on linux. It does not even support reprojection, which is an essential feature. Using Monado instead yields a better experience, especially when setup through Envision. lvra.gitlab.io is a great source of information about linux VR.

I personally find Wivrn to be much easier to use than ALVR. lvra.gitlab.io is a great place for Linux VR info.

They are easily availible from physical stores and are cheaply priced and don’t need a PC.
Beatsaber on my Pimax 5k+ with my Intel ARC A750 on EndeavorOS works quite well. But there are few options for using VR with ARC on Windows, other than Virtual Desktop.
From a privacy point of view, it makes pefect sense to not share your phone number with a merchant. The only buisness you have with them is a single transaction, they don’t need any more information about you other than knowing that you paid.
Seems like it’s just flatscreen streaming, so nothing noteworthy. This can be done in a browser.
