Hey Lemmy, it’s been a while…

🙌 I welcome you to visit my second virtual exhibition.

The artworks are not for sale (yet), but if you do see one that you want to hang as an actual physical print in your hallway for example, do get in touch and I will arrange it for you.

Enjoy!

Interesting concept! I’ll be along if you’d made these permanents sort of. It could be a fun way to promote artists and art itself IMO.

I love museums, but I don’t have the funds to visit as much as I want, I really like the concept.

I do have some light criticism, in the hope that it will help bettering the experience.

Immersion is everything in these kind of events so be careful about anuthing that breaks that.

There is some bizarre “select image” happening when looking around:

Also, and this is only my view of things, you can move so fast and the angle of view is so that you take in way too much too fast. A flip of the finger and you do no longer know where you are and what you’re looking at. Think of when you were in a museum last time, you walk, approach a painting, walk up to it and take it in all in itself without disturbance. No rush. The walking was better, even if I’d slow it down too. I used the web page and didn’t download the app.

Hit me up if you’d like to invite artists to your museum!

I do plan to rotate artworks on a weekly basis 😊 Yes, indeed. It is my second exhibition and it is a great way for artists to showcase their works.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’ll assure to pass it along to the platform builders. I don’t have these experiences myself, but understand it as the following:

      • Select image seems to happen to quickly when you walk around
      • The speed of walking around is too fast and results in getting disoriented.

You may want to try the ←↑→↓ arrows on your keyboard to move around. It takes a bit of training to get used to it, I agree.

If there is a stylistic fit with my artworks, I am always open to collaborations with other artists. Feel free to forward them 💚

        Thanks!

I’m an oil painter so there might not be that big of an overlap IDK 🤷🏻‍♀️. Do you hang around in the artshate community? I think people might be interested there.

Nothing beats the physical experience of an oil painting 🙏

Not sure what you mean with the art share community? Here on Lemmy? I am already grateful for all the attention I am getting 😊

True, I have a hard time taking even bad photos of what I’m painting 🥲.

We have a little community without pretention: [email protected] It’s not much but I bet people would like sharing their creations in a virtual museum, if you are interested of course!

It moving about too fast might just be when viewing on a mobile phone, rather than a computer and keyboard.

I’m also finding the navigation a bit tricky, in terms of it “zooming about too quickly”.
