According to a Valve Engineer, the Steam Machine specs outclass the most common PC configurations.

That’s the first sentence. As far as “clickbat” goes, this is barely one if at all.

Games with Kernel Level Anti Cheat won’t run on Linux.

It’s also quite funny what is defined as a PC? Steamdecks and Laptops are also in this category yet they are not really comparable to normal “PCs” aka Workstations/Desktop computers (nobody calls a smartphone a PC). You know something the Steam Machine targets.

Just post the original video instead of posting such a trash article with 0 research.

Update: Looks like you guys also call smartphones PCs so I clarified point 2.

Steamdecks and Laptops are not really PCs

Wut. Did you huff the stupid juice before commenting? PC stands for personal computer. Steamdeck has a full Linux environment by default and laptop can be anything (most of the time.)

You can run servers, command line/console, play games, edit videos, make music, control smart home devices and way more. In what way, are these not PC’s?

      Notebookcheck is an excellent source.

Look at how meticulous their laptop reviews are: they’re so German it hurts. And they’re one of the only ‘oldschool’ written hardware reviewers that’s still alive.
