Also add S109=0 to force k56flex, since it’s (like 3kbps) faster than v.90

If you’re looking for some nostalgia they made a revival called Overload. It’s $30 of GOG and steam.

Yo mama be screaming for you to get off the damn inter net while she’s on the phone with aunt Heidi, so it’ll it never reach attempt 5.

Do not tell yo mama that technically you never managed to get on to the “inter net”. Trust me on this one.

The monitor would flicker and in its reflection you would see the shadowy figure take a step closer to you. You dared not turn around but you knew what would happen if it ever got to 5.

I would play MechWarrior 3 on campaign mode and try again in half an hour or however long it took me to die a few times.

There was a time when I connected my nextel via USB to my computer and used it to connect to 36k internet and played runescape all day…

And the full screen nude that would load from the top down and idle for what seemed like forever just before revealing the boobies.

Yeah but they didn’t limit the buffer. You had to wait 15min for it to load but once it did you could watch a whole low quality video file straight through with no shuddering or stopping.
