If humanity suddenly vanished and all that would be left of our existence is all the videos ever filmed. How much of that would be porn? What would other civilizations think of us? Fucking perverts, aren’t we?

I mean if you look at ALL the species that have ever lived on earth in the history of earth, how many had the same sexual drive as humans? That would be in the 0.xxxxx percentage.

If you want to use logic, it would be logical to assume that chances are that aliens ARE NOT as sexually driven as us and that this is NOT a common behaviour.

What do you mean? There are so many species that are kind of all about sex drive. All those insects that don’t even eat in their adult life, just fuck. Humans can’t compare!

Wait… what? Animals are like… mostly driven by food and sex. Humans are not an outlier. Animals also don’t have human morals or value consent, so many will attempt to fuck humans or other species against their consent, often very harmfully for the subject. Animals masturbate. Animals have incredible specializations specifically for sexual selection, with no impact or even detrimental effects for their survival. Humans aren’t even the only animals to have recreational sex. All of evolution is optimizing for the best probability to survive and have sex. Sex is what life is.

I don’t agree with any of the assumptions you’re making about humans being an outlier. We’re not even particularly remarkable, sexually. If aliens reproduce sexually, why wouldn’t they be sexually driven? That’s literally the main thing evolution optimizes for. Everything else is just secondary, and only is prioritized if it increases the likelihood of surviving to reproduce.
