I’m sure people said the same about the robber barons a century ago. Sadly they all died of old age surrounded by luxury. I’d like to think justice has caught up a bit, but… well, ruthless rich fucks have been dying of old age in luxury for a long time.

and arguably that kind of event does set a country back. it just acts as a unifying “other” for the rich fucks, most of whom content themselves living a life of hedonism, occasional self-fellating/inefficient act of volunteerism (helps forget where their $ comes from), and maybe occasionally fucking over someone in some petty social grudge.
random acts of violence mostly just create more problems, build resentment etc…targeted acts of violence is what solves problems
unrelated, but the proper capitalists happen to be a much smaller, purposefully isolating group.
