The RAK 1W modules seem to be out for sale!
Cross-posting here in case there’s mesh nerds here who haven’t subbed to the Meshtastic community.
Which platforms is this compatible with? The last time I looked at actual Meshtastic/LoRa products, there were a bunch of incompatible implementations and the products were either very functionally limited or very expensive (or, you needed to build them yourself, which doesn’t lend itself well to backcountry communication and resilience).
This is compatible with Meshtasric. It ships with it. Anything running Meshtastic can talk to anything else running Meshtastic. RAK make a whole host of Meshtastic modules. Some complete portable units, some made for stationary use. I’m im the GTA and the mesh is large, 100+ nodes. The main devices used are Heltec V3, RAK WisMesh Pocket/Tag, LiliGo, Seeed Studio. All of them talk together.
