Not promoting violence but does it not say that they have to identify before arrest? Or is a civilians rights are now thrown out the window?

    You could be in the right. You could be legally correct. You could even survive. But who is there to enforce the law? Where are the consequences?

    ICE is not above the law but when the people charged with upholding the law and investigating abuses are the ones encouraging it, what can you do?

    Calling them fascists and authoritarians didn’t come from nowhere

        I think this is one of these long tails for rebuilding. Clearly we can’t count on national leaders to uphold the law. The problem is either the massive buildup of ice or the entire lack of ethics and respect for the law and their fellow humans among the workers, letting them fall to authoritarianism

        Perhaps if we establish a strong traditionalism of professionalism, respect for the law, strong ethics, then next time around they won’t be so susceptible to corruption. Probably need a strong union as well, so if there are any good ones, they have support to stand up for what is right.
