Its a thing in Audacity that can modulate the pitch and playbackspeed over time, like a ramp or gradual thing

Its like a true accelerando or ritardando. Almosy every audio app can easily do that at a discrete point in time but it plateaus or stays there in terms of the speed and pitch. Sliding stretch does that constantly over the entire track

About as much as other DAWs, but you can rent to own it on Splice with no interest and it’s actually the best deal because you get two years of updates. I highly recommend it or getting the trial. Or hell, the most basic package is reasonably priced and you can probably find a limited 8-track license for cheap or possibly free.

                Get the trial.

I will probably end up buying it if it at least approximates Audacity’s sliding stretch type parameter automation and i like the workflow. Does it work with video too or just audio?

I can wait, I have a video app which can do all that but its fussier on the small screen rather than something on a computer haha

Wat DAWs while we’re on that subject

Looking forward in particular to being able to automate reverb, low pass filters, and delay in particular
