The next decade should be really interesting for Nintendo considering how many of the iconic players are reaching retirement age. I hope the new talent find their own vision — and fanbase — so that they don’t just end up trying to copy the greats. I’d love see some new IPs and reintroduction of old non-Mario-related franchises like Mother, F-Zero, and Starfox.

OR, Nintendo could just keep releasing remasters of 40 year old games and people will always hand them money for a little hit of nostalgia…

The added content for the switch 2 looks underwhelming but I really liked wonder. It was a breath of fresh air after nearly 2 decades of new souper ports and sequels

Yeah I ws enjoying the idea of it, but even the map layout and freedom was off putting.

It was less an expansion of the core game play and more a gimmick and deviation from what works.

Mario has made great changes like with galaxy and such so Im not against it. Birdo game was a far superior huge change.

Oh yeah? I thought that game was universally loved. I thought it was alright too.

It was different for sure but it didn’t feel like a mario to me. Im open to all sorts of new stuff but Wonder was boring and poorly designed. It just felt bad and if Mario wasnt in the title it would have never seen daylight.
