I just don’t get it, I’m not trying to say it’s bad or that people should hate it because different strokes and all. But I do not see why it’s so popular, I tried to watch it with my kid who absolutely loves it but I was so bored by it that I struggled to stay awake.
It’s a fun watch - it has likable characters, amusing gags, classic story themes repackaged into a 21st century setting, relatable protagonists, uplifting messaging, actually for real good life advice, honest depictions of people struggling with darkness inside themselves, redemption of people who believe they’re irredeemable, and it’s all wrapped in neat visuals, and comes with fun upbeat music.
Don’t get me wrong, i wouldn’t choose to watch it a second time, but it’s definitely a good movie with a lot going for it
