In the face of an openly fascist regime, state and congressional Democrats are busy sending fundraising texts and scolding their own constituents. This is folly. Pre-2016 politics is never coming back.
Who’s the candidate people like? Any race, anywhere. Just wanna hear some names, some support.
I like Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders, Jasmine Crockett, Maxwell Frost, Al Green, maybe Melanie Stansbury… not many more. Damn near all the other Democrats in Congress are reacting to the end of America as if it’s item number four on this week’s agenda.
Anyone at a local level? I’m thinking about people who aren’t known outside their districts/state but will run for midterm elections.
Well, I would only know my local area, where nobody’s seriously impressed me. We sure need some people to STEP UP and either run or lead a genuine opposition.
Yeah I think that’s the case in a lot of places. It’s not fun or exciting to run for office unless you’re one of those “extrovert” people or just have a thick skin and really want to do some good.
