Pickles is 100% hand knit on circular needles from a nice fingering-weight merino yarn. The only sewing on Pickles is the yarn holding his eyes on, everything else was knit into his form. 18 inches long and about 9 tall, Pickles took about 230 hours to create. He is soft and friendly shaped
Not OP but, yes. Circular needles are each connected on one end by a cable (or similar). They are typically used to make tubes without seams. Like how most socks are a continuous tube (except for the heel and toe). Most sweaters aren’t done on circular needles (although they can be). If you look at how most sweaters are constructed, you can see that the front and back are single blocks that are stitched together at the sides
Interesting! Most sweaters I do are circular cast on too. Though admittedly myself and my knitting circle seek out in-the-round patterns. Ive never been fond of stitch and flip classic needles
She also would knit socks and gloves on 4 double pointed needles. I went more towards weaving and now sewing, but I love the three dimensionality of knitting in the round.
