Getting banned by both American conservatives and the Soviets means you’re doing something right, but it was never supposed to be that deep. The only thing that surprises kids when they develop some critical thought is the realization that the pigs acting like humans doesn’t justify the existence of humans, it just means you need to make twice as much bacon.
Lol, not really. Idiot conservatives will always ban shit for stupid reasons. Soviets banned stuff that was intentionally trying to stoke fascist uprisings in their country, which is what Orwell wanted.
Also using the term “critical thought” when praising animal farm is pretty ironic, lol
For some reason, I get the feeling that this is going to be mediocre.
IMO an Animal Farm adaptation needs to be different and based on the casting this seems more like a typical animated production.
I hope I am wrong.
your instincts are probably on because it seems they’re casting stars not voice actors
Just looking at the visuals you can tell the tone is off. This is not a cutesy story with teacup pigs
Tbh they should be doing Animal Pound, the recent updated retelling of Animal Farm in comic form. Was actually really good.
I am open to fully novel interpretation that stray away from the original. Just make it feel different and unique.
Stray hehe. It’s good for sure, I hate remakes and recommend the comic!
Is just an overhyped kid’s book, lol. Is exactly what it needs to be. I’m sure Seth is gonna be a bad ass Napoleon.
It’s not a kids book, what are you on about?
