    Just use cash, or plastic. At least that way you won’t lose your money with your phone.

      Technically, mobile payment is more secure than cash and cards in terms of theft risk as you need to authenticate before using it.

      The only exception is a chip & pin card with NFC and magstripe disabled and no card number or CVV printed on it.

      You can’t do much with modern phones once reported stolen, most of them become bricks.
