Catnip does “work on humans” just not as a drug that gets you high or gives any kind of euphoria. It makes a pleasant tea, though. You can also smoke it, and it can act as a fever-reducer. I wouldn’t recommend smoking what you buy for your cat at a store, though. Grow it yourself.

I would drink it as a tea not smoke it for fever reduction.
Its great for children because catnip will reduce a fever without raising it first.
