Attractive strangers ask you questions and smile at you. I did a lil “experiment” once in which I tallied/catalogued behavior/treatment towards me with vs without my glasses, unkempt vs styled hair, unflattering vs flattering outfits, etc, and discovered that I definitely experience pretty privilege
My wife experiences this. She is annoyed by how people treat her differently depending on if she’s done up or dressed down.
People are very kind and helpful if she has makeup and nice clothes on

That’s pretty cool that you decide to do this experiment.
I assume subconsciously or biologically we’re predisposed to “attractive people”. Playing the part (looking spiffy vs not) would heighten the effect.
Then again, I’m not that smart and just guessing 🙂
