Would the economy collapse or thrive? Would there be countries happy to accept the deportees? How would they even deport so many people?

Curious about your thoughts on the hypothetical.

collapse. straight out. Your talking about removing almost half the population at least and then you have what the bar to white is. Palestinian? Israeli? greek? italian? ukrainian? russian? etc, etc… there have been many opinions on what is white enough right down to the aryan stuff. Then of course there is the final throwing away of any compliance with treatise.

I want to point out that it is this reason that OP has stumbled on that White Supremacy is a death cult. The answer is that it would start loose and get more and more narrow. A fascist state needs an enemy to rail against. First, in needs to conquer or cannibalize or subjugate; this is the source of its wealth.

You mentioned “the line” but I also want to point out what white privilege is a social construct that has been extended to groups at different times historically. It was extended to the Jews after the Holocaust (Ashkanaz, at least), and I’m fully expecting somewhere down the line the deportation of America’s Jews to Israel (following the forfeiture our property, of course).

Realistically, if this were to happen, current US government would use the scale from Family Guy

If it’s collapse, I hope it will be well documented, so that the world learns from it. It could quell all the right-wing rhetoric world-wide if the US collapsed from such a stunt.

As one history professor has told me “The only thing we can learn from history is that people don’t learn from history”

I don’t see it happening but who knows. Collapses because of their nature don’t tend to be to well documented. Well internally anyway.
